Creator kit

What you need to show NotchPixel in a video, a stream or a post: clips to cut into your edit, a 60-second segment to rewrite in your own words, the lines to say on screen, and what to call it.

What the kit is for

It is for partners and for anyone making a video about NotchPixel. Use the clips and the script in videos, streams, Shorts and posts about NotchPixel: cut them, crop them, zoom in, change the speed and talk over them. You do not have to use any of it, and nothing here is required to keep your licence.

Say what you actually think. Showing free alternatives next to it is fine.

Clips

Nine silent clips, 1920 x 1080, 30 fps, H.264 MP4, 6 to 8 seconds each. They are screen recordings of NotchPixel on a Windows 10 laptop from September 2026, so small details can differ from the version in the Store today.

Not in the kit: the FPS, CPU, GPU and RAM strip in a fullscreen game, and the REC pill for OBS Studio. Record those on your own PC, in your own game and with your own OBS. If the strip does not show, the support page explains why.

Your own recordings beat ours: a real phone on the same Wi-Fi receiving a file and a real call being muted are worth more on camera than any clip here.

A 60-second segment

A script to rewrite in your own words. The times are a guide, and each step says what to show and what to say. Skip any step that does not fit your video.

  1. 0:00

Show: the notch at the top of your screen from the first second. Rest the pointer on it so the card opens. Clip: The card opens.

"This is NotchPixel, a notch for Windows. Rest the pointer on it and it opens. Move away and it's gone."

  2. 0:06

Show: Task Manager with NotchPixel at idle, or the numbers on notchpixel.com/footprint.

"At idle it uses about 13 megabytes in Task Manager and 0% CPU. That's version 0.5.64, measured on 3 October 2026, and the method is on notchpixel.com/footprint."

If you measure your own copy, say your own number with your version and the date.

  3. 0:15

Show: a file dragged to the top of the screen, the QR code, then your phone on the same Wi-Fi opening the file. Clips: A file onto the shelf, Send to phone.

"Drag a file up here and send it to your phone on the same Wi-Fi with a QR code. No app and no account on the phone."

  4. 0:25

Show: a fullscreen game with the slim strip at the top. Record this on your own PC.

"In a fullscreen game it either hides completely or shows a slim strip with FPS, CPU, GPU and RAM."

  5. 0:33

Show: a call with the timer running, then the mute key. Clip: One key mutes the mic.

"On a call, Ctrl Alt M mutes your mic in every app, and the call timer sits up here."

  6. 0:40

Show: two or three quick cuts. Clips: Clipboard pins, Now playing, Twitch and YouTube chat, Volume and battery pop-ups.

"There's also clipboard history with pins, what's playing, notifications, and Twitch and YouTube chat when you stream."

  7. 0:48

Show: the Microsoft Store page. On screen: Windows 10 (version 2004 and later) and Windows 11, x64. $9.99 once in the US.

"It runs on Windows 10 and 11. It's $9.99 once in the Microsoft Store, with no subscription and no account, and the Store installs and updates it. My licence was free, and the link below is an affiliate link."

Outside the US, say the price your Store shows, or "one price, once, no subscription".

Say it on screen

Say in the video itself, out loud or on screen, that your licence was free and that your link is an affiliate link. A line in the description alone is not enough, and on the partner program it is a condition of payout. Lines you can use as they are:

On YouTube, also tick the paid promotion box when you upload. If you give away your 5 viewer codes, do it by random draw with the giveaway rules template: free to enter, with no subscribe, like or follow needed.

What to call it
