Recommend NotchPixel. Earn 40% of every sale you send.
About $3.40 for each US sale at $9.99. You see your link the minute you apply, and once you are accepted you get a free licence and 5 codes for your viewers.
How it works
- Fill in the application below. As soon as it is sent, you see your link:
notchpixel.com/r/yourcode. - We confirm your application from your channel's own email, the address shown on the channel, usually within a few days. Your link starts counting from then. We pay only codes confirmed this way.
- Once you are accepted, we send your free licence, 5 codes for your viewers and a link to the kit.
- Share your link. When someone buys NotchPixel through it, the Microsoft Store counts the sale under your code.
- We read your sales from Microsoft's Partner Center and pay you 40% of what Microsoft paid us for them.
What you get when you are accepted
- A free licence. A Microsoft Store code for NotchPixel, yours to keep whether or not you make anything with it.
- 5 codes for your viewers, to give away by random draw with the giveaway rules template. Entry is free, with no subscribe, like or follow needed, and you say that YouTube, or whichever platform you use, does not sponsor it.
- Your links:
notchpixel.com/r/yourcode, and a direct Microsoft Store link with your code (below). - The kit at notchpixel.com/partners/kit: clips you can use, a short segment script you can rewrite, disclosure lines and naming notes.
What you are recommending
NotchPixel puts a notch at the top centre of the screen on Windows 10 (version 2004 and later) and Windows 11, on x64 PCs. Rest the pointer on it and it opens a card; move away and it is gone. It shows what is playing, sends files to a phone on the same Wi-Fi with a QR code, keeps clipboard history, mutes the mic in every app with one key, and in fullscreen games either hides or shows a slim FPS, CPU, GPU and RAM strip.
$9.99 once. No subscription, no account. It is sold only in the Microsoft Store, which installs and updates it; other markets show their own local price.
How much you earn
You get 40% of what Microsoft pays us for each sale your link brings in. Microsoft keeps 15% of the price before tax, so a US sale at $9.99 pays us about $8.49 and you about $3.40.
| Sales | Microsoft pays NotchPixel | You get (40%) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 US sale at $9.99 | about $8.49 Microsoft keeps 15% | about $3.40 |
| 10 US sales in a month | about $85 | about $34 |
| 50 US sales in a month | about $425 | about $170 |
| A market with a lower local price | less | 40% of that |
Your commission is always 40% of what Microsoft actually pays us, so it is lower during Store sales and in markets with a lower local price. Where the price includes VAT, it follows what we receive after VAT.
How sales are counted
- Your link,
notchpixel.com/r/yourcode. It opens our website and remembers your code for 30 days in that browser, so every Microsoft Store button on the site carries it, on that visit and on later ones. - Your direct Store link,
apps.microsoft.com/detail/9MXCRL0XBGPH?cid=p-yourcode. Microsoft counts a purchase made within 24 hours of the click, on any device signed in to the same Microsoft account. Use this one in Shorts and TikTok bios, where people often watch on a phone and buy on a PC. - Sub-IDs. Add a label to see which video worked:
?cid=p-yourcode-yt,?cid=p-yourcode-short, ornotchpixel.com/r/yourcode-yt. Each is counted on its own and paid to you. Keep labels short: the whole ID, fromp-to the end, should be 20 characters or fewer.
Expect an undercount
We go by Microsoft's own count, and it will show fewer sales than you actually send. We would rather tell you now. The reasons:
- Many viewers watch on a phone and buy later on their PC without clicking your link again. If that is more than 24 hours later, or on a different Microsoft account, the sale carries no code.
- Microsoft's reports only count purchases by people signed in to a Microsoft account.
- If someone opened a different campaign link first, Microsoft credits that one.
- Your notchpixel.com link is forgotten if the visitor clears their browser data, switches browser, or comes back after 30 days.
When you are paid
- Your first commission within 7 days of the sale showing in Partner Center, whatever the amount.
- After that, monthly, by the 5th, for the paid sales that showed the month before, once you are owed more than $25. A smaller amount carries over to the next month.
- By PayPal or Wise, in US dollars, with a statement of the sales each payout covers.
- Refunded sales are not paid. A refund after we have paid is subtracted from your next payout.
- We pay only codes confirmed from the channel's own email, and only for content that carries the disclosure below.
Disclosure
Disclosure is a condition of payout. Sales from content without it are not paid.
- Say in the video itself, out loud or on screen, that your licence was free and that your link is an affiliate link. A line in the description alone is not enough.
- On YouTube, also tick the paid promotion box when you upload.
- On live streams, repeat it from time to time, not only at the start.
- In posts, blogs and newsletters, put "affiliate link" or #ad next to the link, in the way your platform asks for.
Not allowed
- Buying through your own link.
- Bidding on "NotchPixel" in search ads.
- Posting your link on Reddit.
- Presenting NotchPixel as Apple's, or using "Dynamic Island" in titles or thumbnails. NotchPixel is not made by Apple.
- Asking viewers for ratings or reviews, rewarding anyone for one, or posting fake ones.
- Selling or trading codes, or tying them to a rating, review, subscribe, like or follow.
- Spam.
Describe NotchPixel as it is; the kit has notes on what to show and what not to claim. We may end a partnership that breaks these rules. Sales that followed the rules before then are still paid.
Changes
If we change the rate or these terms, we tell partners by email at least 30 days before. Sales made before the change are paid at the old rate.
Apply
It takes a minute. We read every application and reply by email.
Thanks, your application is in.
Your link: . It starts counting once we confirm your application from the channel's own email.
We reply within a few days with your licence, your 5 viewer codes and the kit. If someone already has the code you asked for, or it is one we keep for our own links, we email you a different one.
Questions
Do I have to review it or say something positive?
No. Say what you think. Showing free alternatives next to it is fine, and nothing is required to keep the licence.
Who can join?
Anyone whose audience uses Windows 10 or 11 PCs: videos, streams, short clips, newsletters and blogs about Windows, gaming or desk setups.
What if the code I asked for is taken?
We email you a different one before your link starts counting. The same goes for codes we keep for our own links, such as tiktok, yt or press.
